the Arcachon Basin
The Arcachon Basin has been classified as a marine natural park since 2014.
It's a veritable inland sea that lives to the rhythm of the tides. Depending on the coefficients, they move between 200 and 400 million cubic meters of water between low and high tide every six hours.
Heritage
The maritime heritage of the Arcachon Basin is based mainly on oyster production.
